Located adjacent to the prestigious Four Seasons Resort Oahu, Ko Olina Golf Club is an acclaimed facility that has been named “Hawaii’s Best Golf Course” by Hawaii Magazine and one of the “Top 75 Resort Courses in the United States” by Golf Digest. For the better part of a decade, Ko Olina Golf Club was the site of the LPGA’s Lotte Championship. Today, Ko Olina Golf Club is still going strong, and features 18 holes, a driving range, putting green, short-game practice area, locker rooms, a golf shop, and Roy’s Ko Olina restaurant.
Ko Olina Golf Club Highlights
Ko Olina Golf Club is an 18-hole course designed by renowned golf course architect Ted Robinson. A par-72 course checking in at some 6,867 yards, Ko Olina is especially known for the challenging nature of its water hazards: it possesses some 16 water elements that come into play on eight different holes. The course also features multi-tiered greens and isn’t hindered by a single set of parallel fairways. Play along Ko Olina’s beautiful course is usually only mildly influenced by the area’s trade winds. Its locker rooms contain a steam room, Jacuzzi, and showers, while each one of the club’s golf carts comes fully equipped with a hands-free GPS system providing a course map and scorecard.
Rentals: Ko Olina Golf Club’s rental situation is routinely rated among the best in all of Hawaii, as they typically rent exclusively TaylorMade clubs of a recent vintage. Junior clubs are available, too, and each club rental comes with two complimentary sleeves of TaylorMade Tour Response golf balls.
Golf Academy: Ko Olina Golf Club is home to the well-regarded Ko Olina Golf Academy. The Golf Academy at Ko Olina is staffed by eight PGA professionals and offers private lessons, group lessons, junior lessons, and daily clinics. No matter your level of skill and experience, there’s a personalized session that’s right for you.
Ko Olina Golf Shop: The Ko Olina Golf Shop sells an assortment of men’s apparel, women’s apparel, golf accessories, equipment, and more. They carry a range of big-name golf brands—think Titleist, Callaway, and TaylorMade, just to name a few—suitable for longtime golfers and enthusiastic beginners alike. Novelty items (like keychains and plastic cups) adorned with the club’s signature ladybug logo make for popular souvenirs here.
